In line with the efforts of the management of Al Hadi Center for Myopathies and Neuropathies to enhance the competence of its medical staff and develop their skills in keeping with global standards, a delegation from the Center's laboratory undertook a scientific and training visit to the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) in Singapore, located within the TTSH building.
During the intensive two-day visit, the delegation, which included Dr. Muhannad Al-Hindawi (Histopathology Specialist) and Anesthesia Technician Jaafar Sadiq Omran, reviewed the latest techniques used in the neuromuscular pathology laboratory. They also participated in advanced scientific sessions to discuss and examine nerve and muscle biopsies with a select group of Singaporean experts.
Professor Dr. Tong Wong from Malaysia and Professor Dr. Umahathy Terugunanam (Neurologist) played a pivotal role in coordinating this scientific visit, reflecting the depth of cooperation between Al Hadi Center and a number of regional and international experts in the field of neuroscience.
This step stems from the commitment of Al Hadi Center's management to build scientific partnerships with leading global institutions and its dedication to qualifying its staff. This ensures the provision of accurate diagnostic services according to the highest international standards, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of healthcare provided to patients in Iraq.
